Applying for a Filming Permit...
We welcome the opportunity to offer venues for filming in our District.  Please adhere to the following procedure:

If you are interested in filming in any of our parks, facilities or open space, please fill out the Filming Application Form and email it to Matt Kouba, Park Superintendent, at parksupt@crpd.org.  Be as specific as possible when describing the nature and details of your film shoot.  Please note the following restrictions:

-NO NIGHTTIME SHOOTING
-NO NUDITY
-SPECIAL EFFECTS ARE BY PERMISSION ONLY
-NO WEEKEND SHOOTING UNLESS BY SPECIAL
  PERMISSION

If your application is approved...

  1. A filming fee will be determined.  These fees are based on a sliding scale and are calculated with respect to the size of the film crew, duration of the shoot and the District manpower needed to support it.  A check or cash for the full amount must be received by the District office prior to the commencement of filming.  At this time, we are unable to accept credit cards for filming fees.
  2. You will need to complete a Hold Harmless form below and return them to our office.
  3. Provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance listing Conejo Recreation & Park District as a certificate holder.  Your certificate MUST be accompanied by an endorsement that specifically lists CRPD as an additional insured.  Refer to the insurance requirements below for further information.
  4. Once the above items have been received, a Commercial Filming Permit will be issued.
